A blog to guide athletic injury prevention, rehabilitation and nutrition in young athletes.
About Me and My Goal.
I am a senior captain on Bowdoin College’s men’s squash team with a strong interest in sports medicine. As an athlete, I have dealt with injury and recovery and wanted to share what I have learned with other athletes. Specifically, I wanted to create a resource for athletes who might not be able to get specialized medical care.
My goal is to make this information accessible to young athletes, so they are better equipped to understand injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Resources for Learning
My understanding of injury prevention and rehabilitation has come from a mix of sources. Compiling this website, I have referred to extensive literature on the topic, as well as conversations with and guidance from professionals in the field.
Injury Management
This feature of the website is designed to help users identify and assess their injury and create a strengthening program that will help them heal. The information on this page has been informed by research and the help of medical/fitness professionals.
Squash
This website was specifically designed to help squash players and supplement SEA programs. While the features on this website can be used for other sports, this section is just for squash and encompasses recruiting, nutrition, match play tips, and more.
